The two IAS officers met during the Covid-19 pandemic, when they were tasked with ensuring supplies. “We had met during the pandemic. It was he who proposed to me and I accepted his proposal,” Dabi told India Today.
While 29-year-old Dabi will be tying the knot for the second time, this would be Gawande’s first marriage. Dabi was previously married to Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan, an IAS officer from Kashmir, but their marriage did not last long. The couple was granted divorce by a family court in Jaipur in August 2021.
