Amlohri coal producing area of NCL welcomed ‘Audyogik Surakhsha Rath’ (Industrial Safety Drive) during the ongoing Annual Mines Safety Week. Adding a whole new dimension to safety commitment of NCL, the drive was stationed at ‘View Point’ of Amlohri mine and trained miners about the occupational health and safety.
In a bid to impart training on worker’s safety at workplace across the country, the drive was flagged off by Minister of Labour and Employment, Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar from Vigyan Bhawan Delhi on September 2017 as a part of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Factory Advice Service & Labour Institutes (DGFASLI) working under Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India and 3M India Limited.
Audyogik Surakhsha Rath (Industrial Safety Drive) is a fully equipped mobile training van through which experts demonstrate and train workers on occupational health, safety practices and usage of safety equipment.
