57-year-old Arvind Krishna will take over charge from Ginni Rometty in April. Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra celebrated his appointment as IBM CEO on Twitter. Calling it as the stunning endorsement of the managerial capabilities, Mahindra tweeted, “What a stunning endorsement of the managerial capabilities of Indian-origin managers. Satya, Sundar, Shantanu & Arvind running four US tech giants.”

 

Anand Mahindra said that now there is a responsibility on Indian managers to demonstrate that they can take companies to the top as well.
