Fujifilm Instax Mini 11

Spread the love

The Fujifilm Instax Mini 11 is the latest avatar of the Instax Mini Series of instant cameras from Fujifilm. It updates previous Instax Mini 9 cameras with a new selfie mode and an automatic exposure mode with improved flash that will automatically calculate surrounding brightness and adjust the shutter speed accordingly. The Mini 11 produces small prints using a fully analogue process that takes roughly 90 seconds for the picture to appear after you’ve clicked it.

The Mini 11 is Fuji’s most affordable Instax and the entrylevel option for anyone looking to get into instant photography. Like the previous Instax cameras, the Mini 11 is also extremely simple to use. At the backside of the camera, you’ll find a door for loading the film. Do check the window first for a yellow mark which means you’ve already got a cartridge loaded. If you find the yellow mark ON then a counter towards the bottom right will tell you how many shots are left to be clicked. If the counter displays S, you’re safe to open the door and load a new cartridge – just align the yellow mark on the cartridge with the one on the camera, push it inside, then close the door. Next switch ON the camera by pushing the button to the corner of the lens which extends the barrel. Before you take any photos, you’ll first need to eject the initial safety sheet which will be blank and need to be discarded. Now the counter on the rear will indicate you have ten shots remaining and you’re good to go. You can also use the selfie mode to capture close-ups of subjects from 30-50cm away but you need to be a little bit more accurate with your framing as how the scene looks in the viewfinder is different compared to the actual close-up photo appears. When you purchase the Box contains an Instax Mini 11 camera, a wrist strap, a pair of customisable rubber shutter buttons and two AA batteries. So Pick up a pack of Instax Mini film and get started creating retro-style instant prints
