At the Samajik Adikarita Shivir organized by Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, PM Narendra Modi distributed Aids and Assistive Devices to more than 10,000 Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjans) at the Navlakhi ground in Vadodara.
“In every infrastructure we create, we have to be conscious about the requirements of our Divyang sisters and brothers,” said PM Modi in his speech. “Distributing equipment is a very small part of the programme. The larger aspect is our duty to take care of our Divyang sisters & brothers,” he continued.
