Maharashtra allots land to TTD for developing a replica of Tirupati temple in Mumbai

The Maharashtra state authorities has allotted land to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams for the development of a reproduction temple of Lord Venkateswara in Mumbai.

The allocation of land was made by the Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray-led authorities at Ulwe in Navi Mumbai on the auspicious eve coinciding with the Telugu Ugadi day last Saturday, the same day that Maharashtra celebrates as Gudi Padwa – Marathi new yr day.

TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy, further EO AV Dharma Reddy and TTD belief board member Milind Navrekar performed a key function in persuading the Maharashtra authorities in allocating land to the TTD for the development of the Lord Balaji mandir.

The board of administrators of CIDCO has formally permitted the proposals and the ultimate approval of the land allocation can be given by the Maharashtra authorities very quickly, TTD sources added.



TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy thanked Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray for the promptness proven by the Maharashtra authorities in allocation of land to the TTD.
