After resolving to implement Goa (Right of Citizens to Time-Bound Delivery of Public Services) Act to provide better services to citizens, Mapusa Municipal Council (MMC) is taking steps towards digitization of all records.
With an aim to take services to the doorsteps of people, the civic body is gearing up to provide e-governance services. For instance, payment and renewal of trade licence, income certificate, NOC for power and electricity will soon be one click away.
The municipality has invited expression of interest from firms to develop and manage the software which will include online workflow system for application and renewal of trade licence, issuing income certificate, power and water connections, file tracking, SMS system for application tracking and maintenance of the council website.
