With the aim of supporting people of all walks of life Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Gurugram provided onground medical support at Raahgiri organized by Police & Distt. Administration Rewari.
Carrying forward the Raahgiri trend and keeping alive the heritage of Haryana Sunday was made fun day. About eight thousand people including 10 schools, NGO’s , Social Club like Lions & Rotary came together to be part of Raahgiri and participated in various activities like Yoga, aerobics, zumba, cross fit, cycling etc.
Raahgiri Day is India’s first sustained car-free citizen initiative that began in Gurgaon in Novemeber 2013, which later became a weekly event and extended to other parts like Delhi, Noida and became a hub for people in Delhi NCR.
According to Commander Navneet Bali, Regional Director, Northern Region – Narayana Health, the number of people participating at Raahgiri have grown each day. The event generates lot of people and media attention sending a vibrant message of uniting each other at one place to participate in recreational activities just not to add a day extra to their lives but also to be fit and healthy in life. We are happy to see people of all groups joining together and participating in various activities here. We feel overwhelmed to be a part of this event and extending our hands.’’
Narayana Superspeciality Gurugram not only encouraged the participations but also provided with medical support and offered services like doctor Consultation, BP, Blood Sugar,SPO2, Pulse, Ambulance Backup.
