NBCC built IIT Delhi Technopark inaugurated at Kundli

IIT Delhi Technopark built by NBCC Limited, was inaugurated at Kundli in Sonepat by Haryana Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal Khattar and Minister of State for Human Resource Development Dr. Satya Pal Singh in presence of Haryana’s Education Minister Shri Ram Bilas Sharma.

 

This extended campus of IIT Delhi has been built at a cost of Rs. 177 Crore and is spread over 10 acres with a built-up area of 33,200 square metres. It is equipped with IT-enabled services, a 466-seater auditorium, a five-storey residential block, a four-storey academic block and basement parking with a capacity of 365 cars.

 

“The establishment heralds another new chapter in country’s march towards attaining greater achievements in science and technology,” said NBCC Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Anoop Kumar Mittal. “The extended campus has been created as a modern gurukul which will enable IIT Delhi to enhance teaching-learning and pedagogical research activities,” he added.
