The Andhra Pradesh government has unveiled the Naipunyam Portal, an AI-driven platform aimed at empowering 20 lakh young people by 2029 through skill development and employment facilitation. This innovative portal integrates multiple state, central, and institutional databases to offer one-stop access for AI-assisted résumé creation, real-time skill assessments, and seamless connection to training programs and job opportunities.
Among its standout features is an AI interview simulator that conducts mock interviews and provides automated feedback to boost job readiness. Additionally, a job-chatbot guides users through platform navigation and job listings. The portal supports monthly job fairs across constituencies, which have already helped place 1.44 lakh individuals.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the importance of setting global standards for skilling and urged international collaboration and curriculum modernization starting from school level. The initiative also encourages engagement through the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub to foster innovation in younger students.
By combining AI capabilities with localized outreach and continuous upskilling, the Naipunyam Portal aims to transform Andhra Pradesh’s large youth demographic into a skilled, job-ready workforce. This strategic move addresses unemployment challenges while positioning the state as a leader in India’s digital skill revolution
