NSIC has successfully set up a Vocational Training Centre and Incubation Centre at Banjul, Gambia and handed over to Ministry of Trade, Industries, Regional Integration and Employment (MOTIE), Govt of Gambia on 12th September, 2017.
The project was handed over by A. K. Mittal, Director (Finance), NSIC to Her Excellency Madam Isatou Touray, Hon’ble Minister of Trade, Industries, Regional Integration and Employment in presence of Madam Naffie Barry, Permanent Secretary – MOTIE; T. Baskaran, Counsellor, Embassy of India; Binod Kumar, Chief Manager, NSIC and Officers of Gambia Technical Training Institute & Gambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Additionally, NSIC also organized a nation-wide campaign beginning from 15 Sept.2017 at all the #NSIC offices across the country. Shri Ravindra Nath, #CMD, NSIC administered a “Swachhta Shapath” (Pledge) to the employees. Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC stated that each one of us knows about the importance of cleanliness and Hygienic work environment which can improve the productivity considerably.
