AIADMK Leader and Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Edappadi K. Palaniswami said, “Tamil Nadu reported the lowest number of cases in over a fortnight with one death and 25 fresh cases of Covid-19”.
Palaniswami further said, “It is a disease of the rich. People who have travelled abroad or to other states have imported it. It did not originate here,” he said while addressing the media after a meeting with district collectors across the state.
“Only the rich have got this disease. Where did the poor get this? Because the rich visited foreign countries and imported the disease.” Also, many people visited other states and there is a disease here because of that,” Palaniswami said.
He also called it a ‘big challenge’.
