Delhi’s Diwali Crackdown: 79 Cases Filed, 19,000 kg of Firecrackers Seized

Delhi ramps up firecracker ban enforcement for a cleaner Diwali, deploying 300 police teams, seizing 19,000 kg of firecrackers, and coordinating with neighbouring states to reduce pollution. To implement the firecracker ban effectively, Delhi’s Environment Minister Gopal Rai announced the deployment of 77 teams from the Revenue Department and 300 teams from the Delhi Police across the city.
