At least 11 CISF personnel on duty at Mumbai airport have tested positive for COVID-19 in Maharashtra’s Panvel, the city’s Municipal Commissioner Ganesh Deshmukh has stated. The CISF personnel are believed to have contracted the virus at the airport. Four other people, including three international travellers, had also tested positive for coronavirus in Panvel but one of them has recovered.as per the published report.
Ten personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force or CISF posted at the Mumbai airport have tested positive for coronavirus, NDTV has reported. The paramilitary force has decided to get all 152 jawans staying together in a camp tested. According to the CISF, those who test positive will be shifted to the Kasturba Hospital for treatment while those who test negative will be kept under observation at a quarantine centre for 14 days.
