KPMG selected by BCCI to help in media rights bid process

It has been learnt from official sources that BCCI has hired accounting firm KPMG to advise them on the IPL media rights. The decision has been taken by Board secretary Jay Shah’s office. The BCCI expects around Rs 30,000 crore from media rights for the next five-year cycle from 2023-2027, the tender process for which will be guided by KPMG. India logs 6,358 new COVID cases, 293 fatalities; Omicron tally at 653

The active cases have declined to 75,456 comprising 0.22 per cent of the total infections, the lowest since March 2020, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.40 per cent.
