Indigenously built combat vehicles inducted into the Indian Army in Ladakh

Boosting the capabilities of the troops deployed in Ladakh, Made In India Infantry Combat Vehicles have been inducted into the forward areas of the mountainous region. While personally driving the new vehicle, Northern Army Commander Lt General Upendra Dwivedi said that with these combat vehicles one can easily be driven on harsh terrain of the region. “One can easily drive the vehicle and the driver can see 1,800 metres away from it. Govt assigns DRDO to probe the Tata Nexon EV fire incident

The government has asked Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) to probe the incident of a Tata Nexon EV catching fire in Vasai West, Mumbai, a few days ago.  The organisation was earlier assigned to probe the electric two-wheeler fire incidents by the Union Road Transport and Highways Ministry. Tata Motors is also investigating the cause behind the isolated thermal incident and a detailed investigation is being conducted, the manufacturer said.
