According to details provided by the government, the three services – Army, Navy and Air Force are reeling under a shortage of 1,35,784 personnel, with the Army having the maximum vacancies at 1,16,464. After having served their jail term, the release order of real estate tycoons Sushil and Gopal Ansal was given by a Delhi court on Tuesday. The brothers were jailed in a case of tampering with evidence in the related 1997 Uphaar cinema fire, which had claimed 59 lives.
