Gram Vikas Yojana Distribution program under Chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) Shri Manoj Kumar was organized in Nanpur village of Garh Mukteshwar tehsil, Hapur, Uttar Pradesh  conducted by the KVIC’s Divisional office Meerut .   In this program, as part of the Honey Mission, 30 beekeepers were provided with 300 bee boxes and bee colonies. The Union Minister of Ayush and Ports, Shipping & Waterways Shri Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated six new buildings as part of the Project II of North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH) to expand capacity. The cost of the construction of these new buildings is estimated at more than 60 crores. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has praised the efforts towards self employment of women. In a tweet, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis informed that 27000 women from Mumbai were empowered as they have been distributed various tools & machines like sewing machine, chakki, masala making machine etc for the self-employment under BMC’s scheme, at Somaiya Maidan, Chunabhatti, Mumbai. Responding to the tweet by the Deputy CM, the Prime Minister tweeted; “Commendable effort to further women empowerment.”    

In a tweet, Union Minister of Defence, Shri Rajnath Singh has informed that 4th Positive Indigenisation List (PIL) of 928 strategically-important Line Replacement Units (LRUs)/Sub-systems/Spares & Components has been approved. The list includes high-end materials & spares, with import substitution value worth Rs 715 crore. Responding to the tweet by Shri Rajnath Singh, the Prime Minister said; “A positive development for the defence sector. This will add strength to our resolve towards an Aatmanirbhar Bharat and encourage local entrepreneurial talent.”
