Google’s video ad business comes under scanner: advertisers demanding refunds from YouTube for not adhering to its promises and policies

Google may have misled many advertisers about the viewership of video ads running on third-party websites and apps, according to a report put out by a digital ad research organization, Adalytics. The Chinese spy balloon that passed over the U.S. early this year used American technology that helped it collect audio-visual information, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing preliminary findings from a closely held investigation.
