In August 2023, there were 69 people aged under 18 in custody in Sweden. More and more children are contacting criminal gangs in Sweden to offer their services as contract killers. ED attaches assets worth Rs 2.84 crore in a ‘Post matric scholarship scam’
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached properties worth Rs 2.84 crore under the PMLA Act, in connection with the ‘Post matric Scholarship Scam’. Investigation revealed that managers and trustees of Hygia Group of Institutes and SS Group of Institutes got admission of fake students in their institutes and applied for scholarships in their names on the government portal.
