Thousands of Pilgrims Depart for Amarnath Cave Shrine from Jammu Base Camp

In a remarkable display of devotion, another batch of 4,132 pilgrims departed from the Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas base camp in Jammu, heading towards the Kashmir Valley to undertake the sacred pilgrimage to the Amarnath Cave Shrine. The pilgrims set off early this morning in a convoy of 151 vehicles. This group comprised 2,872 men, 1,168 women, 18 children, 68 sadhus, and 6 sadhvis (female sadhus).
