The long anticipated reshuffle and expansion of the Union Cabinet happened on 7th July. PM Modi again proved as the great strategist in the modern digital era. We would say, the PM has placed the right person at the right time.

PM Modi 2.0 Cabinet reshuffle 2021 is shown as the biggest reform in the history of the Union Cabinet ,where he has sacked 12 ministers, particularly those at the head of ministries, which had brought criticism to the government in the last year and more.

Union Health Minister Harsh VardhanIT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar have to quit from the Union Cabinet. Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah is now the new head of the newly formed Ministry of Cooperation.

Meanwhile, Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister-in-charge of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Chemicals and Fertilizers, has been given the additional charge of the crucial health ministry as part of the cabinet reshuffle. The ministry was headed by Dr Harshvardhan earlier.

A major restructuring of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet saw the exit of Ravi Shankar Prasad, who was heading both the Law and IT ministry, witnessing the tussle between Modi’s government and the technology firms.

They have been battling with the U.S. social media giants like Alphabet Inc.’s Google, Facebook Inc. and Twitter Inc. in one of the world’s fastest-growing internet markets. Hope the country will relook into the IT act and policy of taxation and many more.
