AIMPLB member Sajjad Nomani writes to AIMIM chief Owaisi about UP assembly polls

Sajjad Nomani stated in his letter to AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi that AIMIM should look for an alliance in the upcoming UP assembly polls and contest only in those constituencies where winning is certain.

All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) member Khalil-ur-Rahman Sajjad Nomani wrote to All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi regarding the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.

Owaisi also suggested that the Hyderabad-headquartered party should look for an alliance to ensure a favorable result. He suggested that AIMIM should contest with full force in only those constituencies where winning is certain.

egislative assembly elections are scheduled to be held in Uttar Pradesh from February 10 to March 7, 2022, in seven phases. The results will be declared on March 10.

In his letter, Nomani pointed out the possible vote division (of Muslims) in the ensuing assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh.

Nomani also mentioned the incident on January 11 (where OBC leaders of BJP quit the party) and said that it is essential to stop the division of votes.

He also praised Owaisi as a leader and said that people like him.
