Rita Bahuguna’s son, Mayank Bahuguna, said he could not understand BJP’s stand of opposing dynasty politics and called it an illusion.
After joining the Samajwadi Party, Rita Bahuguna’s son Mayank Bahuguna said the Bharatiya Janata Party’s stand of opposing dynasty politics and called it an illusion.
“I don’t understand BJP’s set standard of ‘parivarvaad’. I am trying to figure on what basis Rajnath Singh‘s son gets a ticket, Fagu Chauhan’s son gets a ticket, but Rita Bahuguna Joshi’s son cannot get it.
Further, he said that I spent 13 years in BJP and did not get anything in return. “I have spent 13 years in BJP but the party has not given me anything. It is good that the party has not given. Now, I am satisfied and I think that the young people have a future in the Samajwadi Party. I am happy to join SP. It is the most progressive party.
He said his mother, Rita Bahuguna Joshi, is also now on the path of political retirement. “My mother has almost retired from politics now because she is 73-years-old. She has already said that she will not contest the next election, will write books, write memoirs.”
