The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has launched the book “Winning Partnership: India-UK Relations Beyond Brexit” at the Prime Ministers’ Residence on 3rd June. This was followed by a launch at the British Council in New Delhi.

The book comes at a critical juncture in global affairs where India and its engagement with the world are being transformed under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. Whilst the United Kingdom, one of the most prosperous nations in the world, is going through tumultuous change following its decision to leave the European Union, an in-depth look into the relationship is the need of the hour.

The essays in this book cover a wide range of subjects including politics and diplomacy, economics and business, strategic affairs and defence, through to culture and soft-power, and engaging the UK’s significant Indian diaspora.

Eminent personalities such as Lord Meghnad Desai, Lord Jitesh Gadhia, Dr. Jyotsna Suri, Ashok Malik, Ambassador Ranjan Mathai, Asoke Kumar Mukerji, Manoj Ladwa, Gopika Pant and Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain were present at the launch.

Gopika Pant, the Managing Partner of Indian Law Partners with more than 31 years of legal experience in cross-border transactions and investment into India, has co-authored one of the essays in the collection “An Unbeatable Combination in Legal Services”.
