India Today brings you exclusive insider information ahead of Sonia Gandhi’s ED questioning.

Congress chief Sonia Gandhi will be questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the National Herald case. She will be questioned by an assistant director-rank officer who is also part of the probe team in this case.

India Today has accessed some inside details ahead of Sonia Gandhi’s questioning. Here are the details:

– Sonia Gandhi, who was summoned by the ED in money laundering probe, will be allowed to leave if she feels unwell.

– Keeping her health condition in mind, a medical officer will be allowed to stay in the ED building but won’t be allowed to sit with Sonia during questioning.

– Sonia Gandhi’s lawyer, too, will not be present next to her during rounds of questioning.

– Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi will be accompanying her mother to the ED office. She will probably wait in a separate room with a medical officer with a nebulizer in case Sonia Gandhi feels unwell.

Sonia Gandhi, who tested positive for Covid weeks ago, still suffers from post-Covid complications and requires constant nebulisation every three to four hours.

This is the first time that any federal investigation agency will question the Congress president.

Earlier, the ED had questioned Rahul Gandhi for over 50 hours over five days at the agency’s headquarters in Delhi.
