Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) will be organising live music performances at metro stations and in trains for a month starting this weekend in an effort to attract more footfall.

In a bid to attract more footfall this weekend, the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) will be organising live music performances at metro stations and in trains for a month.

The metro authorities have collaborated with ‘On the Streets of Chennai’ for the performances which will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm.

DATES FOR LIVE PERFORMANCES

The event will begin on July 23 at the High Court Metro station, followed by a performance on a train from the Airport to the Wimco Nagar depot metro on July 30.

While the performance will be held at Guindy Metro on August 6, it will take place at the Thirumangalam Metro on August 13, Alandur on August 20 and in a metro train from the Airport to Central Metro on August 27.

The CMRL is aiming to garner a maximum number of passengers during the event.
