A skill development centre has been approved by the UP government in Jewar to help the locals in getting jobs in upcoming developmental projects.
As the construction of the world’s fourth largest and Asia’s largest airport is underway, the state’s CM Yogi Adityanath has approved setting up of a skill development centre for the local youths of the area. The skill centre will help the locals in getting jobs in upcoming developmental projects like the airport project, film city, toy city, electronic city and others.
The local BJP legislator Dhirendra Singh said that local young people should be given preference in the vacancies for all the projects that are proposed in Jewar.
“CM Yogi Adityanath has approved setting up of a skill development centre. This centre will provide such skill sets for the local youth that are required to secure a job in many undergoing projects. The centre will be opened soon and local youths will have an opportunity to become skilled,” said Singh.
“It is our duty to give preference to the local youth in the proposed projects of the area and especially those who have given up their land to welcome the airport project and relocated. This skill center will help them secure jobs in private firms that are developing the projects in the area,” he added.
Tata projects have started construction of the airstrip for the proposed airport and the first flight from the first runway is supposed to take off before the 2024 general elections. CM Yogi Adityanath is keeping a close eye on the project.
