At the time of the election of President of India, when Shri Venkaiah Naidu has been nominated for the post of vice president of India, his previously held post at the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting will now go to Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani. The Minister for Textiles will now assume the additional charge of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting from 19th of July.
The Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore, Secretary (I&B); Shri N.K. Sinha, CEO – Prasar Bharati; Shri Shashi Shekhar Vempati and senior officers of the Ministry were also present on the occasion.
