PM Modi emphasized that under his government, 25 crore people have emerged from poverty and provided hope for those who remain that they too can soon overcome their economic challenges.
- Launching several projects in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted on Thursday that he initiates the call for development, while it is the people who rally behind him during elections.Addressing a gathering in Bulandshahr after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of development projects worth over Rs 19,100 crore, he emphasized that when the government ensures the reach of its schemes to all beneficiaries, discrimination and corruption are eliminated. Modi added, “This is true secularism, this is true social justice.”
Stating that he serves the people honestly, Modi highlighted that under his government, 25 crore people have emerged from poverty, instilling hope in those who remain that they too will soon overcome poverty. He expressed a personal connection with the people, saying, “You are my family, your dreams are my resolve, and that is why strengthening common families like yours will be my asset.”
Discussing the ‘Modi ki guarantee wali gaadi’ aimed at achieving the saturation of welfare schemes, he assured that every citizen would benefit from government schemes, treating Modi’s guarantee as the assurance of the fulfillment of any guarantee.
Modi reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring that its statements translate into actions, emphasizing efforts directed at reaching 100 percent of scheme beneficiaries. Expressing a desire to quickly reach all those in need without discrimination, he critiqued past slogans and politics that failed to uplift the poor.
Referring to media speculations that he would sound the poll bugle with this program, Modi clarified that he prioritizes development and the welfare of every individual. He highlighted that when people express support for him, he does not need to spend time sounding the election bugle; instead, he devotes his time to serving the people.
