This extension follows the government’s earlier decision to increase the subsidy from Rs 200 to Rs 300 per 14.2-kg cylinder for up to 12 refills per year. Notably, the Rs 300 per cylinder subsidy was implemented for the current fiscal year, ending on March 31.
