More than 70% of people of Odisha are satisfied with government services, 66% want to see Naveen Patnaik as Chief Minister again.
Bhubaneswar: Jewels of Odisha, an independent media platform committed to enriching Odisha with citizen information, has unveiled the stunning results of its recently concluded state-wide citizen sentiment survey. With an eye-catching sample size of 10,400 respondents, the survey is the largest of its kind, providing unparalleled insight into the attitudes of Odisha’s population. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s leadership has been praised in a survey report titled ‘Governance Dynamics of Odisha’.
A remarkable 72.7% of the respondents indicated that they were satisfied with the performance of the current government while almost half (45.5%) indicated that they were ‘very satisfied’ with the administrative performance. Similarly, a remarkable 65.2% of the respondents expressed their wish for Naveen Patnaik to lead the next government. “This result is a testament to the collective voice of the people of Odisha, the support of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and the overwhelming satisfaction with government services shows the power of citizen engagement in shaping the governance path,” he said.
