In response to Amit Shah’s recent address in South Delhi, Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal took to the stage on Tuesday to challenge the Home Minister’s comments. Kejriwal said “He (Amit Shah) abused the people of Delhi. He called all AAP supporters ” Pakistani “. I want to ask him, the Delhi people elected us with the majority of the vote share (56%) in Delhi, 78 seats out of 117 in Punjab and Gujarat people gave us 14 % vote, and Goa people extended their support to us…in several states we have sarpanchs, councillors and people elected them… Are all these people in our country Pakistanis?”

In response to Amit Shah’s recent address, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejrieal on Tuesday said, ‘You have started abusing people…you have not yet become the Prime Minister and you have started becoming so arrogant… i want to tell you that you are not going to become the PM of India because on June 4, BJP is going out…so, control your ego and stop insulting the people. You have enmity with me, you can abuse me but if you abuse the citizens, no one will tolerate it.’

Responding to Amit Shah’s speech at South Delhi Constituency yesterday, Kejriwal said, “Amit Shah ji came to Delhi yesterday and I got to know from people present there at the speech, that not even 500 people were present at his public meeting.”

A 45-year-old man was charred to death after a fire broke out at a four-story building in Northeast Delhi’s Jyoti Nagar early on Monday. 20 fire tenders swiftly responded to the fire after the incident was reported at 6.01 am.

The building also housed a branded clothing showroom—Raymond—operated on the ground floor, with a godown on the second floor and living quarters on the third and fourth floors.
