Bhupathi Raju Srinivasa Varma Takes Charge as Union Minister of State in Ministries of Steel and Heavy Industries

Shri Bhupathi Raju Srinivasa Varma officially assumed his responsibilities as Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Steel and the Ministry of Heavy Industries at Udyog Bhawan today. The event marked a significant moment as Shri Varma was welcomed by senior officials from both ministries.

In the Ministry of Steel, Shri Nagendra Nath Sinha, Secretary of the Ministry, along with other senior officials, extended a warm welcome to the new Minister of State. Shri Bhupathi Raju Srinivasa Varma hails from Bhimavaram in Andhra Pradesh and is an esteemed Member of Parliament, representing the Narasapuram Lok Sabha constituency. As a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), his political journey has been marked by dedication and service to his constituents.

Earlier in the day, Shri Varma also took charge as Minister of State in the Ministry of Heavy Industries. Shri Kamran Rizvi, Secretary of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, along with senior officials, greeted the Minister and expressed their enthusiasm for the collaborative work ahead.

The welcoming ceremony in the Ministry of Steel was attended by Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Coal and Mines, who expressed his best wishes to Shri Varma.
