Colonel (Dr.) Inderjeet Singh, Co-Founder, India Blockchain Forum also Chief Cyber Security Officer, Head of the Cyber Security Center of Excellence at Vara Technology had collapsed while address in an event organised by Information Sharing and Analysis Centers (ISACs) in Hotel Lemon Tree, Aerocity, New Delhi. According to delegates who attended the event, immediate assistance was provided to a leader who collapsed, with several individuals administering first aid and offering a Sorbitrate tablet for approximately 15 minutes. Following this initial response, the individual was transported to R&R Hospital, where it was reported that he was experiencing severe breathing difficulties.
Over 100 leaders in cybersecurity and cyber warfare gathered from across the country for the event, highlighting the importance of collaboration in this critical field. The Information Sharing and Analysis Centers (ISAC) operates as a Section 8 organization in India, closely working with the National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Centre (NCIIPC) under the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
Colonel Inderjeet Singh was instrumental in building the Cyber Security Business Unit for the Group. He was working on the disruptive technologies in the Cyber Security Space for securing IT networks, Smart cities, and Critical Information Infrastructure. He served in the Indian Armed Forces, is an Alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and Symbiosis Institute of Management, Pune. He is Doctorate of Science from Logos International University, Florida.
He is an experienced Information Systems professional with experience of more than 29+ years across a wide spectrum of areas spanning cybersecurity operations leadership and influencing policy level decisions in multiple organizations. He has consistently delivered mission-critical results in the field of Information Security Management, Cyber Security, Cyber Warfare and Cyber Risk Management, Blockchain, Data Science, and Smart Cities.
Throughout his career, he has parlayed his extensive background in security and deep knowledge to help organizations build and implement strategic cybersecurity and blockchain solutions. He has held prestigious appointments while in the Indian Army and has also served in the United Nations Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Later, he has been a CIO of an E-Commerce Company.
He is visionary for Start-Up Incubation, Entrepreneurship Development, Strategic Consulting, and New Technology Evaluation for commercial viability. He is a Subject Matter Expert on the latest Disruptive Technologies. He was a regular speaker and contributor in our publications VARINDIA and The Brand Book.
