Here is a brief description of the showcases:

SHOWCASE FOR MOBILE NETWORKS (MN)

  • AI-powered 6G

Interoperability among multiple AI/ML models designed for the 5G NR air-interface solutions implemented at the device and the network operating independently poses significant challenges in terms of training and validation. Our proposed AI/ML solutions based on joint training of the AI/ML model provides us a framework whereby we have the flexibility to efficiently and reliably encode and decode the channel state information (CSI) using specialized AI/ML based auto-encoders and decoders at the device and the network end. Furthermore, our AI/ML based encoders and decoders have shown a significant performance gain up to 30% enhancement in downlink throughput for the cell-edge users due to improved CSI estimation at the network.

  • Atmospheric ducts in radio networks

Solution to mitigate interference related to ducting (atmospheric conditions leading to signals travelling undesired long distance in 5G/ TDD networks (200-400 km range), impacting cell throughput, especially in the mid-band spectrum. Our solution renders the capability to identify chronic aggressors/victims and implement remedial actions.

  • Energy efficiency

Energy efficiency journey covers hardware, software and services and focuses on the reduction of the radio access network energy consumption. The journey gives an insight on how these products and services can reduce CO2 emissions and cost of energy.

  • Next Gen RAN Solutions

The Radio Leadership Journey highlights our latest AirScale radio, baseband and Wavence microwave transport portfolio for India market including radios, compact outdoor sub-rack for flexible deployment options, AirScale small cell and E band microwave radio

  • Performance Innovation in 5G Adv.

With content-awareness the gNB looks into a video or multimedia stream and transmits the different parts or “slices” (PDUs Packet Data Units) in a differentiated way to the UE: “slices” / PDUs of equal properties (e.g. priority) get in one PDU Set and transmitted with the related priority. This helps to overcome potential DL congestion.

  • Unlocking possibilities with RedCap

The demo highlights the use of RedCap technology for industrial and consumer use cases that are beyond the capabilities of massive IoT technology such as LTE-M and NB-IoT. It will also drive the migration of existing LTE-based IoT applications to 5G, and over a wider range of frequency bands.

SHOWCASE FOR CLOUD AND NETWORK SERVICES (CNS)

  • Monetize programmable networks

5G-era networks have capabilities that are not being fully monetized. This real-world demo demonstrates how Nokia Network as Code enables the 3rd party SI / application-developers to access network capabilities to enrich their remote vessel piloting application for their end-customers.

  • Autonomous slice monetization

CSPs are looking for ways to boost subscriber experience, reduce churn and monetize slicing. This demo showcases AI/ML-enabled forecasting & autonomous closed-loop operations with live network, for empowering CSPs in their journey towards monetization, and experience-driven autonomous service and network operations.

  • Cybersecurity operations with advanced GenAI

CSPs face mounting cybersecurity threats on their 5G networks. This demo showcases how GenAI within Nokia Cybersecurity Dome platform can swiftly detect and counter cyberattacks. By leveraging 10x increase in data, Nokia ensures security & integrity and responds 10 times faster through automated actions.

  • Sustainable operations with Nokia AVA

For CSPs it is difficult to reduce their carbon footprint. This demo showcases how AI/ML based Nokia AVA helps them to reduce emissions and meet sustainability goals.
