Ayodhya is all set for a grand celebration marking the first anniversary of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Temple. The ceremony, which saw the placement of Ram Lalla in the temple on January 22, 2024, will be commemorated with a three-day festival starting on January 11, 2025, aligning with the ‘Pratishtha Dwadashi utsav’ as per the Hindu calendar.

Devotees and dignitaries from across the country have already begun arriving in Ayodhya, with many seen gathered around the temple, chanting bhajans and shlokas in preparation for the festivities. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to inaugurate the event by performing the ‘Maha Abhishek’ of Ram Lalla.

The celebrations, organized by the Ram Temple Trust, will feature a series of cultural and religious events from January 11 to 13, with over 110 VIPs in attendance, including individuals who could not be part of last year’s historic ceremony. Renowned artists like ‘Folk Queen of India’ Malini Awasthi, playback singer Anuradha Paudwal, and poet Kumar Vishwas will perform during the festival.

In addition to cultural performances, the event will include Ram Katha, Ram Leela, and various religious rituals. PM Narendra Modi also extended his wishes on the occasion, calling the Ram Temple a symbol of India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.

On the first day of the celebrations, the temple grounds will witness Agnihotra rituals, chanting of 6 lakh Shri Ram Mantras, and recitations of the Ram Raksha Stotra and Hanuman Chalisa. Other events include the ‘Rag Seva,’ a congratulatory song, and a Ram Katha at the ‘Angad Tila’ within the temple premises.

These grand festivities mark a historic moment in Ayodhya, and the Ram Mandir stands as a beacon of cultural pride and spiritual significance.
