Intex Technologies has donated 50,000 stationary kits worth Rs. 5 lakhs this Diwali as a part of the campaign for underprivileged kids in the form of the Joy of Giving Week on Snapdeal – a festival of philanthropy, celebrated every year by engaging people through acts of giving.

The campaign took place from 1st-10th October, 2016 on Snapdeal Sunshine and the stationary kits (that included Natraj pencils, an eraser, a sharper and a ruler) were delivered directly to partnering NGOs like Teach for India, GiveIndia, Bhumi, The Community Initiative, Care India, etc; which are actively working for education of underprivileged kids across the country.

Intex Technologies ran internal contests, where employees registered and promoted the campaign page to drive traffic and donations. Later, the winning team which drove maximum donations was given exciting goodies for their efforts.

Speaking on the initiative, Ishita Bansal, CSR Project Head, Intex Technologies said, “We feel extremely delighted to be the part of the Joy of Giving initiative.
