Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Pratap Sarangi said on Sunday in Surat that those who can’t accept the chanting of Vande Matram have no right to live in India.

Accusing Congress for spreading hatred, misinformation about CAA, Union minister Sarangi said, ”Those who set the country on fire are not patriots. Those who don’t accept India’s freedom, unity, Vande Matram, have no right to stay in the country”, said Sarangi in a press conference.

He further said that people of India should be thankful to Modi for bringing CAA into India, thus giving a way of citizenship to Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis, Buddhists and Christians who came to India on or before December 30 2014.

“CAA should have been implemented 70 years ago”, he said. “This is a way to atone the sin committed by our forefathers. Congress committed the sin and we are atoning it”, he further said.

He had earlier too given a similar remark in the wake of protest that erupted against scrapping of 370 A in Jammu Kashmir, against the government.
