Akshay Kumar has confirmed a new film on sex education at the Red Sea Festival. He also revealed the film’s tentative release month.
Though 2022 might not be the best year for Akshay Kumar on the film front, we are hoping 2023 will be better. The superstar has often worked in films with a social message. Take for instance, Padman and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, both films delivered strong messages for the society. Looks like 2023 will be no different. The actor confirmed at Red Sea Festival that one of his films for next year will be based on sex education. He even revealed the tentative release month of the film.

After starring as the lead in films with a social issue such as Padman and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Akshay is all set to star in a film about sex education. The actor confirmed the same at the Red Sea Festival in Saudi Arabia.
During the event, he said, “It’s a very important subject. In a lot of places, it is not there. We have all kinds of subjects we learn in school and sex education is one topic I would like all the schools in the world to have. It’s going to take time to release, it’s going to be April, May,” he said. Further adding “It’s one of the best films I’ve ever made.”
AKSHAY ON STARRING IN FILMS WITH SOCIAL MESSAGE
Akshay Kumar also spoke about his knack for films with a social message. He said, “I like to do these sorts of films, social films. It’s not that big a commercial success film but it gives me satisfaction. Speaking about how Padman has changed people’s perception about sanitary napkins, he said, “After Padman, one of my friends told me, ‘My relationship with my daughter has changed. She has opened up so much because we saw this movie together, now she calls me up and says dad, I started my period can you get a sanitary pack for me on the way home from the office’ and that sort of thing.”
