With only 12 days left for the Lok Sabha general elections, senior leaders of the BJP, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, is going to address a public meeting in Gurgaon on Thursday evening in support of party candidate and incumbent MP Rao Inderjit Singh.
Senior party functionaries said on Monday, that thousands of people are expected to attend the rally that will be held at Huda Ground in Sector-5 in Gurgaon. “The party is embarking towards a historic win and to top that Amit Shah ji is coming to the city to shower us with his guidance.
Security and management is in place for this huge rally,” BJP district president Kamal Yadav said, after addressing a meeting with the party’s factionary at the party office Gurukamal on Monday.
Haryana will go to polls on May 25 and incumbent MP Rao Inderjit Singh is eyeing a third win from the Gurgaon seat, after having won from there in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Yadav also asked all the officials to bring as many people as possible to the rally.
He asked the workers to go door-to-door and invite people to the rally. “The workers would go door to door and tell people about the achievements of the Modi government and also urge them to come to Shah’s rally,” on May 16.
