The Yatris will gather for a corner meeting at Gopal Garden and will have a night halt at Faridabad.

The yatra, which started in Kanyakumari on September 7 and will conclude in Kashmir, is in Haryana, after covering Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

According to the sources, veteran actor Kamal Haasan and DMK MP Kanimozhi along with other MPs from the opposition are likely to join Rahul Gandhi in the yatra in Delhi.

The Delhi Police on Thursday said a traffic advisory in connection with the Bharat Jodo Yatra will be issued once its route is finalised, reported PTI. The Rahul Gandhi-led yatra will reach Delhi on Saturday at 6 am on its 108th day.

Since Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Faridabad today, the traffic routes from Ballabgarh to Sohna via Dhauj will be completely closed from 4 am till noon. There will be a complete prohibition of all types of vehicles coming from Badkhal Chowk, Old Chowk, and Neelam Ajronda Chowk towards NIT from 4 pm. The entry of heavy vehicles will be prohibited in Faridabad on both days during the yatra. The commuters are advised to plan their journey according to the traffic advisory so as to avoid any traffic-related issues, the advisory said.

“Now that Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra is going to enter Delhi, they’re saying that Covid-19 Omicron cases are increasing. The cases of the sub-variant detected were between August and November this year. When we got information on this surge variant, then why was Prime Minister Narendra Modi campaigning in Gujarat polls? Why was millet exclusive lunch organised at Parliament recently?,” asked Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, hitting at the BJP.

After arriving in Delhi on December 24, it will take a break of about eight days before moving to Uttar Pradesh, Haryana (second phase), Punjab and finally, Jammu and Kashmir.
