SP chief Akhilesh Yadav is scheduled to file his nomination for the UP polls at 11 am today. He will be contesting the Karhal constituency in Mainpuri district. On Sunday, protests broke out in several areas of Manipur after the BJP announced its candidates for the 60-seat assembly. Meanwhile, Congress released its fourth list of candidates for the UP polls. So far, it has named 127 women out of 316 candidates. Elections in five states — Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, Uttarakhand and Goa — will be held in seven phases between February 10 and March 7. Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav will file nomination from Karhal seat in Mainpuri today. Akhilesh will file nomination in Mainpuri District Collectorate in the afternoon. Yadav will leave Saifai at 11 am for Mainpuri Collectorate. Akhilesh’s Vijay Rath will run from Saifai to Mainpuri.
