BJP leader Mohit Bharatiya has linked Maharashtra former home minister Anil Deshmukh with the drugs-on-cruise case involving Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, thus giving a new twist to the case.
The BJP leader was addressing a press conference on Saturday where he made these allegations.
Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik meanwhile said that he will reply to these allegations by the BJP leader in a press meet scheduled on Sunday when Malik is supposed to expose some secrets hidden in the hotel ‘The Lalit’.
The claims made by the BJP leader –
· Sunil Patil, one of the founding members of the Nationalist Congress Party and a friend of Anil Deshmukh’s son, played a key role in the Aryan Khan case. He used his influence to transfer the officers under the home ministry.
· Sunil Patil on October 1st contacted Sam D’souza, according to the BJP leader, revealing the WhatsApp chats and call. Sunil informed Sam that he had names of 27 people who would be going to attend the cruise party. Patil asked D’Souza to get connected with an NCB official, which D’Souza did.
· On October 2, Sunil Patil introduced Kiran Gosavi to Sam D’Souza, and sent Gosavi’s number to Sam so that Sam could connect Gosavi with an NCB official.
· The BJP leader claimed Sam D’Souza and Sunil Patil had a conversation in August, long before the cruise case, in which Patil claimed to have a great connection inside the power corridors of Maharashtra.
· Kiran Gosavi is Sunil Patil’s strong man and his work is to get clicked with powerful people, despite political allegiance, the BJP leader said. He also showed their photo with a Gujarat minister.
· Gosavi, Manish Bhanushali, Prabhakar Sail, Sam D’Souza all belong to the same team of Sunil Patil.
· The BJP leader claimed that for the past year, Sunil Patil had a suite in The Lalit hotel where there used to be parties of ‘sharab, shabab and kebab’ in the attendance of many Maharashtra ministers. Anil Deshnukh’s son was a regular visitor there, the BJP leader claimed.
