Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will meet the newly sworn in Lieutenant Governor of the national capital, Vinai Kumar Saxena at 4 PM today. The meeting will be held in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will hold a meeting with the newly sworn in Lieutenant Governor of the national capital, Vinai Kumar Saxena at 4 PM today.
The meeting which will be held in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, will be the first meet after the new Lieutenant Governor has taken over.
64-year-old Vinai Kumar Saxena took oath as the 22nd Lieutenant Governor of Delhi at Raj Niwas on Thursday.
He was quoted by news agency ANI as saying, “I’ll work as a local guardian. You’ll see me more on the roads than in Raj Nivas. Pollution is a major issue in Delhi, will try to solve this problem along with the Centre, Delhi Govt & local citizens. People working in the unorganized sector will be trained.”
Following the appointment of Vinai Saxena to the post, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had tweeted,“I worked with Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on several things and tried to fix problems in Delhi. He is a very nice person. I wish him all the best for the future and wish him good health and long life.
