Second Major Promise by Congress
This is the second key guarantee announced by the Congress for Delhi voters. Earlier, on January 6, the party introduced the ‘Pyaari Didi Yojana’, a scheme promising Rs 2,500 monthly assistance to women in Delhi. Congress leaders have assured that both schemes will be implemented prominently if the party is voted to power.
Details of ‘Jeevan Raksha Yojana’
Announcing the scheme, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot drew parallels with the successful Chiranjeevi Yojana in Rajasthan.

Yadav stated, “We admit that the agreement with AAP was a big mistake, and we will not repeat it. Delhi’s residents are turning to Congress as they seek a change.”
