Detel appoints Ravneet Singh as GM of EV Manufacturing

Detel has announced the appointment of Ravneet Singh as General Manager of EV Manufacturing. In his capacity, Ravneet will be responsible in making the team-building strategies and overseeing the EV manufacturing operations.

 

With over 30 years of experience in manufacturing internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric bikes, Ravneet has been associated with companies like Yamaha Motor India Pvt. Ltd., Cosmic Motorcycle Manufacturing Co, Nepal, Subros Ltd., Sandhar Technologies Ltd., Rissala Electric Motors Pvt. Ltd., and Okinawa Autotech Pvt. Ltd. At Detel, Ravneet will play an important role in the company’s growth by managing the design and development of low-speed electric 2-wheeler- Detel Loader right from selection of plant, machinery, training of manpower in order to produce 6000 units of the electric vehicle per month. To accelerate the vision of manufacturing EV units in India, the company will be investing in creating localised electric vehicles by using over 80% indigenous components.
