In a scathing accusation, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has lambasted Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, claiming that he has effectively outsourced his government, leaving it in the hands of uncontrolled officers. Chouhan made these remarks during a press interaction in Bhubaneswar, asserting his intentions to engage with booth workers in preparation for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Chouhan’s allegations cut deep as he portrayed a grim picture of governance in Odisha, asserting that Patnaik’s administration is being steered not by the Chief Minister himself, but by bureaucratic figures. “Uncontrolled officers have entrapped the entire Odisha in the swamp of corruption,” Chouhan declared, highlighting what he perceives as rampant maladministration under Patnaik’s leadership.

The former Madhya Pradesh CM emphasized the significance of the upcoming elections, noting that both Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha polls coincide in Odisha. He reiterated his accusation, stating, “CM Naveen Patnaik has outsourced his government. He doesn’t run the government; his officers run it,” further alleging mismanagement, corruption, and lapses in the implementation of central government schemes.

Chouhan’s agenda extended beyond mere criticism, as he outlined his plans to engage with party workers and the public, including participating in plantation programs and dining with grassroots supporters. He invoked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India and expressed his commitment to securing a third term for the Modi government, painting a picture of a prosperous future under Modi’s leadership.
