Gujarat Congress leader Hardik Patel has issued a call to action to Patidar youth ahead of election in the state, demanding the dismissal of cases against Patidars.

Patidar leaders in Gujarat are once again threatening a stir unless the government withdraws the cases registered against members of the community who participated in the Patidar reservation movement of 2017.

Gujarat Congress leader Hardik Patel, who resigned from the Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS), has issued a call to action to Patidar youth ahead of election in the state later this year. At a recent meeting of the PAAS in Ahmedabad, Patel renewed the demand to dismiss the legal cases against Patidars.

In an appeal to the community, Hardik Patel said, “You believe in whatever political party you believe in, vote for whomever you want to vote, but it is essential to remove the cases registered without any evidence against the Patidar youth. Join us in the fight.”
