Hardoi's Sadar assembly seat is once again in discussion. Here Nitin Agarwal, son of former Rajya Sabha member Naresh Agarwal, has won the election three times and is contesting on a BJP ticket this time. SP has made the contest interesting by giving ticket to former MLA Anil Verma.

Samajwadi Party has increased the difficulties of BJP candidate Nitin Agarwal by fielding former MLA Anil Verma from Sadar assembly seat of Hardoi district of UP. Pasi fraternity has maximum voters in this assembly seat. Anil Verma comes from this fraternity. The same Muslim vote is also accepting SP as its own. In such a situation, if some other castes also get support of SP, then surely the stronghold of the king can be dented. However, the candidates of Congress and BSP are yet to be announced.

Anil Verma, who is trying his luck for the first time in the Sadar assembly seat as a SP candidate, has been the president of CSN Degree College Students Union. His uncle Chhotelal was elected MLA from Bawan-Hariawan seat in 1996 on a BJP ticket. He died in 1999 after which by-elections were held. Then Anil Verma contested the assembly elections for the first time on a BJP ticket, but lost. In the 2002 general elections, Anil was elected MLA on a BJP ticket. in 2012 they Switched to SP and party made him candidate from Balamau where he won. He did not contest in the 2017 election. Anil overshadowed the caste equation

There were many leaders who were contenders for the ticket from Sadar seat, but they got the ticket due to the caste math being in favor of Anil Verma. Actually, Anil Verma belongs to the Pasi community and Sadar assembly constituency has the largest number of Pasi voters. About 16 percent of the total voters belong to the Pasi community. Apart from this, 15 percent Muslim, 4.5 percent Yadav and 10.32 percent Raidas voters play a decisive role in this area. Here Brahmins constitute 10.94 percent Kshatriyas, 14.92 percent and Vaishyas 4.87 percent.

pause of discussions
In fact, there was a constant discussion in the political circles that Naresh Agarwal can also 'manage' the tickets of weak leaders of other parties to secure his son's seat. People were looking at it in such a way that they should get such a candidate under this management who would not hinder Nitin's victory. But Akhilesh put an end to these discussions by giving ticket to Anil.
This seat in the eyes of Akhilesh.

Nitin Agarwal, who made a hat-trick of victory from this seat, won the 2017 election on SP ticket and he managed to win this seat despite the huge Modi wave. The remaining seven seats were won by BJP. When BJP formed the government in the state, after a few days Nitin Agarwal went to the BJP camp.

With the help of BJP, Nitin also became the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. It is also most important here that Nitin Agarwal is contesting for the first time on a BJP ticket. In such a situation, the Muslim voters here who kept voting unitedly for Naresh and Nitin. Discussions are going on whether he will support this time or not. Political experts say that the way Naresh and Nitin left the SP, they are in the eyes of Akhilesh Yadav.

And this is the reason that Akhilesh Yadav is also wanting this seat as much, that is why he has put Naresh and Nitin in trouble by giving ticket to Anil Verma.

King's rule running for four decades
Naresh Agarwal has always preferred to be in the ruling party. He is considered a skilled player of upheaval. He was elected MLA from this seat in the years 1980, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1996, 2002 and 2007. In 2008, he resigned from the membership of the Legislative Assembly and got his son contested on a BSP ticket in the by-election, in which Nitin Agarwal started his political career by winning. After this Nitin was elected MLA in the 2012 and 2017 elections as well.

Overall, the SP candidate's upper hand is seen in the figures, but the opponents are trying for the last four decades to break the king's strategy, but every time the king emerges victorious, which side will the camel sit this time? The public will decide this on February 23.
